Innovation Lab – DST Prayas Shaala
The DST Prayas Shaala at The Somaiya School is a vibrant Innovation Lab established with support from the Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) initiative under NITI Aayog. Designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving, the lab provides students with access to cutting-edge tools and technologies that encourage hands-on, project-based learning.
Equipped with resources for robotics, electronics, 3D printing, and design thinking, the Prayas Shaala empowers students to explore real-world challenges and develop innovative solutions through experimentation and collaboration.
This space is more than just a lab. It is a launchpad for young innovators, nurturing curiosity, interdisciplinary learning, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Through workshops, challenges, and guided exploration, students from middle and secondary grades engage with STEM concepts in meaningful and exciting ways, preparing them to be the changemakers of tomorrow.
