Admission Process

Your pathway to joining us, made simple.

In the Pre-Primary section, we have a dedicated art teacher who works closely with our youngest learners to introduce them to the joy of art through playful exploration. Children are encouraged to express their ideas freely using age-appropriate materials such as crayons, finger paints, paper folding, and clay.

Step 2

Complete the Online Form

Fill in all the required sections of the form:

  • Personal Details
  • Guardian Details
  • Residential Address
  • Upload a recent photograph and required self-attested documents
  • Make the online payment of the registration fee

Please ensure that all fields are accurately filled and all relevant documents are uploaded. A detailed list of required documents is available within the form.

Step3

Selection Process Overview

Nursery : Admission is based on a lottery system.

Grade 11: Admissions are provisional, subject to

  • Recommendation of the selection committee
  • Payment of school fees
  • Verification of all submitted documents

Step4

Notification of Selection

Selected candidates will receive an email notification with further details regarding the next steps in the admission process.

Step5

Confirmation for Nursery Admissions

 All Nursery admissions are provisional and will be confirmed only upon:

  • Randomization (lottery)
  • Successful document verification
  • Completion of the prescribed fee payment

Step6

Selection Process for Grade 11

 Grade 11 admissions will be based on the student’s academic performance in:

  • Grade IX
  • Grade X (First Term, Second Term, and/or Pre-Board results)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited, along with their parents, for an interaction session, which may be conducted online or on campus, depending on the prevailing circumstances.

The provisional offer of admission will be made based on the selection committee’s recommendation. The decision of the committee will be final and binding.

Please note:

The interaction schedule will be shared only after the complete online submission of the application form and supporting documents.

Submission of a complete application does not guarantee acceptance into The Somaiya School.
Failure to submit all required documentation and to disclose pertinent information regarding the applicant may be cause for the student’s admission review to be delayed or denied.
