Parent Teacher Association

The Somaiya School strongly believes in building a collaborative relationship between parents and educators to enhance the educational experience of every child. In accordance with the Government Resolution dated 21st March 2014 and CBSE guidelines, Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) elections are conducted at the beginning of each academic year to constitute a representative body.

The elected PTA plays an active role in the life of the school and includes parent members on the School Management Committee, ensuring that parental perspectives are included in key decisions. The PTA regularly collaborates with the school on matters such as:

  • Transport
  • Uniform
  • Cafeteria and Nutrition
  • Cultural and Co-curricular Activities

Meetings are held throughout the year based on the evolving needs of the school community. The PTA has consistently demonstrated its commitment by extending valuable support during major school events, including Sports Day, Annual Day, and other celebrations.

By fostering open communication and shared responsibility, the PTA at The Somaiya School serves as a vital bridge between home and school, contributing meaningfully to the development and well-being of our students.
