Digital Learning Infrastructure

At The Somaiya School, we believe that digital literacy is a key component of 21st-century education. To equip students with the skills necessary for a technology-driven world, we offer state-of-the-art Computer Labs across all school sections – Primary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary.

Each lab is designed to meet the developmental and academic needs of its respective age group, ensuring age-appropriate instruction in coding, digital tools, research skills, productivity applications, and safe internet practices. With a 1:1 computer-to-student ratio, every child receives hands-on experience during lab sessions, fostering digital confidence and competence.

Upon enrolment, every student is assigned a Google for Education email ID, which provides secure access to a wide range of digital learning platforms, collaborative tools, and educational resources available across the Somaiya Vidyavihar University campus.

In addition to fixed labs, the school also integrates tablets into classroom instruction, allowing teachers to enhance learning through interactive apps, audio-visual content, and real-time assessments.

Through a balanced approach of structured curriculum and exploratory use of technology, our digital learning infrastructure empowers students to become responsible, creative, and future-ready digital citizens.
